Chaitea Fellowship - Grand Lodge

The Chaitea Fellowship is a Nonprofit Fraternal Benefit with a lodge structure, according to the requirements outlined by the IRS 501(c)(8) exemption status.

Mission

The mission of the Chaitea Fellowship is to foster a community of mutual support, personal growth, and symbolic fellowship through a system of local lodges, united under a shared philosophy of creativity, curiousity, and sustainability.
As a fraternal beneficiary society organized under a lodge system, we are dedicated to promoting the well-being of our members by offering mutual aid, spiritual and intellectual enrichment, and the payment of benefits in times of need -- including, but not limited to, support in cases of illness, death, and hardship.
Through ritual, service, and fellowship, we cultivate a society in which members may explore their potential, contribute to the common good, and participate in the unfolding narrative of the Chaitea tradition.

Practices

In the spirit of creativity and spiritual growth as a fellowship, our practices vary from artistic expressions to building sustainable infrastructure - designed to provide for the mutual benefit of the organization.
These are not just material constructions, but throughout their production are intertwined deep ritualistic practice, meaningful dialogue, and complex symbols intended to be kept secret by the members.
While non-members may volunteer in these projects, they will not be allowed to participate in the rituals which occur alongside these developments.

Subordinate Lodges

As the Grand Lodge, we reserve the whole right to charter subordinate lodges, which are to maintain alignment with our own mission and bylaws, though perhaps be designated for a more specific purpose.

As of this document being written, two subordinate lodges are to be chartered: the Grove Creek Sustainability Lodge, located in Montana, and the Brigham City Creativity Lodge, located in Utah.

Meetings

If you are interested in becoming a member, please attend one of our outreach meetings to be posted here. Attendance can be done in-person or virtually, but the initiation ritual must be done in-person.
